tara trinity
In 2014, I decided to truly pursue my music career and formed the Tara Trinity Project, a soul-based music collective, where I am the lead singer/songwriter/pianist. During the week, I enjoy my bill-paying career as the Creative Arts Integration & Cultural Events Department head for a reputable non-profit in Washington, D.C. On the side, I perform as a Polynesian dancer (hula, Tahitian, maori fire spinner) for two companies based out of Baltimore and Honolulu. In addition, I teach private maori poi ball and hula lessons. As an experienced graphic designer, I do freelance work for a myriad of small business owners. And in my free time I spend it traveling, usually to exotic places in order to satisfy my ocean needs.
The most important job is being a single mother to the glue of my heart and soul (and all other loose ends), Kai.
Things I enjoy: all types of music (from neo-soul to Afro-Cuban Senegalese bands to Klezmer dancing to Uyghur dance), cooking, running, NFL football, comedy/indie films, Nichiren Buddhism, astrology, holistic & alternative medicines, Christian Louboutins, the sun
