Tara Vorhes

I feel most inspired when I am exploring our amazingly beautiful world, whether that is urban cities or the-middle-of-nowhere nature. I also find inspiration in the beauty of everyday life. My work reflects this with an attention to the landscape, the details, and natural light.

My photographs have been in Travel + Leisure and a commercial for a certain large tech company. I am proud to say that my work was included in a curated exhibit by the Chicago Mayoral Office and is regularly licensed for commercial marketing programs.

I am continually working on my craft and refining my mastery of photography skills. I regularly take on personal projects to stretch myself creatively and technically.

I live in the Upper West Side of Manhattan and am so grateful to live in such an inspiring city. I love calling New York City home. My family includes two sweet, adorable toddlers and a handsome husband.

In addition to my photography and family, I love to practice yoga, run, and read. Adventures make me feel alive—I love to travel and explore new places. A good cup of coffee makes me happy.
