Tarek Mohamed

Tarek Mohamed has earned degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He has twenty-five years of experience in IT, with more than 15 years in Business Process Analysis, Modelling and Implementation. Tarek was responsible for the success of many high value projects in Utilities, Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing and Commerce. His can-do attitude, paired with his understanding of client needs and his in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art IT makes him uniquely qualified to bridge the gap between Business and IT.

After planning and implementing Workflow Systems, he was Casewise's Partner for Germany and the Middle East. In 2005, he started with Proforma, were he left his post as Director Services & Support EMEA to join PROMIS GmbH as their CTO. Later, Tarek has become one of the co-founders and shareholders of PROMIS Solutions AG, where he has taken the roles of CIO and acting COO and is the responsible executive for the delivery of PROMIS Solutions high quality services.

Currently, Tarek is the Chief Technology Officer of King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Dammam (KFSH-D), Saudi Arabia. KFSH-D is a major govnerment hospital, employing more than 2,500 people. Tarek’s role is to align technology vision with business strategy by integrating hospital processes with the appropriate technologies. Tarek is also responsible for all aspects of developing and implementing technology initiatives within the organization. He maintains existing enterprise systems, while providing direction in all technology related issues in support of information operations and core company values.
