Tarik Zia

I have worked with several of Pakistan’s leading TV channels, newspapers and magazines for the last 13 years. As a committed journalist, I have in-depth knowledge of Pakistan’s social, cultural and political dynamics and closely follow US politics.

I have written feature stories and news articles for print media and produced short reports and documentaries for broadcast, in Urdu and in English. I have attended several national and international training workshops for journalists. I immigrated to America in 2012 and work as freelance journalist. Before coming to America I have served as reporter, producer and copy-editor with Dawn News, Samaa-TV, Waqat-news and Dunya News.

I love living in Virginia, reading and walking.
