In his career, Tariq has built, grown, and transformed people, businesses, and markets. Whether its a SaaS offering or a complex service line, he has taken businesses from build to growth to transformation.
Currently, as Director - Global Sales, Tariq will be accelerating revenue growth for BrowserStack across all global markets through new customer acquisition. The role is responsible for global sales to ensure customers find it easy to decide and buy the right BrowserStack solution to ship apps and websites that work for everyone, every time.
Previously Tariq was the Country Manager for Business Resiliency and Hybrid Cloud Services at IBM India and South Asia where he was responsible for signings, revenue, offering management, alliance and partner strategy, sales GTM and sales enablement for the service lines. Prior to IBM, Tariq was at LinkedIn India building its regional sales team. He has also had technology consulting stints at Cisco and Safenet.
Tariq has a Master in Business Administration from S.P. Jain School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Engineering from Mumbai University. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Law from the National University of Juridical Sciences and Professional Certificates from ISB and Cornell University.
In addition to being a Marshall Goldsmith Executive Coach,he is a regular guest speaker and visiting faculty for Sales Management at B-Schools.
