Mr. Tarique Rumi is a public safety professional with over 15 years of security operations experience throughout the State of New York. Licensed as a security guard since 2010, he has demonstrated a sustained commitment to regulatory compliance, professional standards, and operational excellence within the security industry. Over the course of his career, Mr. Rumi has developed expertise with license law, safety protocols, patrol procedures, penal, criminal procedure laws, and significant experience with personnel supervision. He has served with multiple security service organizations, providing both uniformed and plainclothes services across a range of enviornments, including retail, commercial, educational, transportation, residential and event spaces. In 2020, Mr. Rumi founded GPS Security, a New York based security service provider, with the objective of enhancing industry standards and delivering client focused services. As Chief Executive Officer, he directs the organization’s strategic vision, oversees daily operations, and leads a team of client service, administrative, communication and legal units.
