Taryn is a graduate in Philosophy and Politics (BA) and Environmental Economics and Environmental Management (MSc). It is her ambition to work in Ecology and Environmental Consultancy. Currently she works on a voluntary basis for the East Sussex County Council Historic Environment Record, RSPB and Bat Conservation Trust. She has previously worked as an intern for the ecological farm Church Farm Ardeley in their PR and marketing office as well as out on farm. During her time at university she was president and founder of the Keele Circus Skills Association, Social Secretary of the Keele Rock Appreciation Society and Treasurer of the Keele Philosophy Society. She was also involved in the organising and promotion of many music events in the Stoke-on-Trent, York and Brighton areas.
Her skills include graphic design, GIS, statistical analysis, environmental surveying including: Phase 1 Habitat, Landscape Character Assessment, Environmental Impact Assessment, Great Crested Newts and Bats.
She spends her spare time gardening, sewing, walking and learning ID plants, birds and insects.
