In the words of President John F. Kennedy, "effort and courage are not enough without purpose or direction." My purpose in life is to glorify Him in all aspects of my life. I am currently a student at the University of Georgia. My dream is to attend Columbia Law School, work as an attorney, and someday serve as a Supreme Court justice. This summer, I have received the opportunity to intern in Congressman John Barrow's office in Washington, D.C. My family is my everything. Without the support of my wonderful parents, none of my dreams would be possible. My older sister is my inspiration, and my nephew is my joy. I have also been blessed with some amazing friendships. Though my circle is small, it is bounded by trust and loyalty.
Three words to describe myself: Independent, Motivated, and Trustworthy. While I am a relatively quiet individual, I lead by example and pursue excellence in everything that I do. In my spare time, I enjoy reading nonfictional books, singing, playing golf, and online shopping. I am an avid sports fan; my television is almost always on either ESPN or NFL Network. And while I certainly enjoy dressing up and going out, I'd much prefer to kick up my feet and relax in the comfort of my own room.
I came to know Christ on August 31, 2010. And while my journey with Him has not been easy, I am proud to say that my faith is intact and grows stronger each and every day. As a follower of Christ, I do believe that it is my responsibility to give back to His children. Specifically, as a young woman, I want to empower other young girls and help them grow strong and confident. As an aspiring attorney, one of my visions is to provide free legal counsel for women who have suffered from domestic violence. Additionally, I want to continue to mentor young girls and let them know how valuable they are. I believe that Christ has called me to serve Him by serving His daughters.
