Taryn Elder is a qualified journalist, presenter and digital communications professional who is currently based in Sydney and working on a freelance basis.

Whilst working as a snow and weather reporter, Taryn produced and presented packages for national + regional television and radio networks including Nine, Ten, Seven, SKY and i98. She has also worked as a breakfast host and producer for one of Australia's most listened to regional stations based in the Snowy Mountains and was the news director for multiple radio markets in Ballarat & Bendigo during her time at Grant Broadcasters. Taryn has been commended by industry professionals for her versatility in making the switch from TV to radio, as well as for her ability to win over a crowd on both CHR and classic formats.

She is also a strong player in the digital media realm, managing multiple social media accounts for a number of brands and organisations, and also works on a consulting basis for a number of clients in tourism, entertainment and education, managing and coordinating their best pratice and stategic direction. Taryn also thrives on producing video and photographic content, regularly shooting and editing video, as well as dabbling in photography and photo manipulation.

Previous to her broadcast and digital media career, Taryn also worked for some of Australia's largest fashion and sporting brands in a public relations and content driven roles, her work regularly featured in publications worldwide including Cosmopolitan, Vogue, CNN and more. She has strong connections in media and within the snow, sport, entertainment and tourism industries.
