Tatiana Contreiras

Tatiana Contreiras is a Brazilian journalist and writer. She prefers to say she creates narratives - whatever the platform is. With more than 17 years of experience, she graduated at the Rio de Janeiro's Federal University and worked in some of the biggest newspapers in Brazil: O Globo, Extra, and O Dia. Tatiana also wrote for magazines such as Rolling Stone and Billboard. Pop culture, TV shows, movies, and music are her specialties. Currently, she splits her time being an editor at the feminist travel website Almost Locals and a freelance gig at SOKO, Netflix's PR agency in Brazil. For a couple of years, Tatiana also worked at Viacom as MTV's PR manager in Brazil. But as writing is her passion, that led her to become a screenwriter: she wrote for TV shows on MTV Brazil, TV Globo, Comedy Central Brazil and Multishow and had classes with Aguinaldo Silva, one of the most known TV authors of her country. Recently, Tatiana worked as a story researcher for Domingão do Faustão - a family-focused Sunday show on air on TV Globo for the last 26 years. A few years ago, she took part on the creative team for the "RezendeEvil - An Unofficial Minecraft Adventure"trilogy - published by Companhia das Letras, it sold more than 300,000 books in Brazil.
