I am a painter, muralist, fibers artist, and writer currently residing in the SC Upstate. My work is bold and playful, taking inspiration from the world around me and channeling it through a filter of surreal textures and colors.
Much of my interest in the dreamlike depiction of real people and places stems from my Russian background, and my deeply rooted appreciation for theater. Folklore and fairytales were a huge part of my upbringing, and growing up I retained the importance of passing down morals and stories by keeping their magic alive.
