Hi, I’m Tauqeer Zafar, faculty for History Optional at Drishti IAS. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring countless UPSC aspirants—many of whom have scored 300+ marks in History Optional. My teaching approach is rooted in clarity, structure, and storytelling, making history both easy to understand and enjoyable to study.
I focus on simplifying complex topics using flowcharts, mind maps, visual aids, and carefully structured notes. My classes are aligned with the UPSC syllabus and cover 44 years of PYQs, helping aspirants prepare with both depth and precision.
