Tausif Rahman Texas

Recent high school graduate Tausif Rahman of North Texas has balanced academics and part-time work successfully. Tausif Rahman plans to attend Texas A&M University, where he hopes to study engineering and business.

Mr. Rahman took several Advanced Placement courses during his upperclassman years in high school. He also participated in his school’s gifted and talented programs during all 12 years of his primary and secondary education, and graduated with honors.

Outside of school, Mr. Rahman enjoys using his innate talents in his work pursuits. Since 2009, he has run a small side business that involves buying used and damaged Microsoft video game consoles, fixing and cleaning them up, and then selling them for a profit. Operating primarily on Craigslist, he has served many satisfied customers.

Tausif Rahman also possesses a background in the food service industry. He previously worked as a customer service representative at Domino’s Pizza, where he learned how to ensure client satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. During the summer of 2013, he cooked and delivered orders for Verona Italian Grill in Frisco. At both Domino’s and Verona, he contributed to the overall success of each establishment and gained critical skills that may be applied to many different careers.
