Tavia is currently an entrpreneur seeking to build her brand. She is the founder of ArTas Jewelers by Tavia Spencer. Tavia is a jewelry artisan that has an eye for creating amazing works of art. In this photo she is wearing hoop earrings and crystal necklace designed by her. This young artisian was introduced to jewlery making by a former co-worker. On April 1, 2013, she decided to breathe life into her on and off hobby of beading. At the age of 25, she owned her second home business.
Tavia was born in Wilmington, NC where her father deceased when she was only 10 years old. Her mother was left widowed after 12 years of marriage and continued to raise her family. At the age of 18 in 2005, Tavia left home to attend North Carolina Central University where she graduated December 2009 and obtained her BS degree in Family and Consumer Sciences specializing in Child Development and Family Relations. Following graduation, almost a month later, she gave birth to her first born...a baby boy!
Tavia has a beautiful smile on the outside and absoultly an outgoing and caring personality on the inside. She enjoys meeting new people and adapts to new enviornments quickly. Tavia has many other talents that she loves to share with others. She is currently wanting to enroll back in school for her masters degree at an accredited university.
