A satisfying life is one in which you strive to better the lives of those you encounter.

Every time I interact with someone, I want them to feel valued and encouraged. I get to work on this daily with my spouse and three children. This is why I enjoying volunteering as a youth group leader at my church. This is one of many reasons I am returning to school to become a teacher.

I enjoy mathematics and want to teach it to middle school students. Many people struggle with math and I believe I can inspire students by making math interesting and relevant. Young people are creative, energetic, and zealous for life. I look forward to helping them focus that energy for learning.
