A native of Raleigh, NC, Taylor Lyon Holmes has spent most of her life absorbing unique spaces that have become inspirations of her artistic love. Her design process began three dimensionally, primarily focusing on metals jewelry, painting and creating unique sculptures. After completing her education at the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A in Advertising Design and a minor in Metals Jewelry, she lived in Bangkok, Thailand where she had the wonderful opportunity to work for a Thai cosmetics company. Since returning from Asia, she has found new artistic inspirations. Her current creative process draws on her extensive collection of international found objects, the study of typography, fashion trends, color theory and pattern design. taylor's current designs are a cultivation of these influences, leading to chic graphic pieces that inspire her and hopefully others daily. she now lives in charleston, SC with her husband, Riley. currently, taylor is a freelance designer who focuses on wedding and invitation graphic pieces.
