Radar Detector - Best
Thus detector is the best seller for many reasons, but tosummarize, this little beggar flat works!, so, so pleasantly surprised by how much I love this little device.
It has really slowed me down, I have been driving by radar traps without even knowing it, and no, I don't mean false alarms and grocery stores.
I've been using this radar detector for several months, and it's already saved me from a ticket or two as I slow down in the nick of time and get into the right lane while other cars keeping pace blast by me and get ticketed. These systems apparently use a band that is picked up by this detector-- and perhaps most or all current detectors. I guess my ideal detectorwould be able to weed out such signals, but at this price point, I'm notcomplaining.
This radar is my second radar, before this one I owned aband cobra that was 6 years old and still worked like new. This radar isamazing! As a person who goes 15 over everywhere
. It was and is everything I wanted and more, it is a greatinvestment.
I bought this based on a top 10 rating of Radar detectors. I like it when I get there, it's the driving to and back that sucks.Looks like I'll gain some more time to enjoy the time I've got left.
Two days ago I say a state trooper pointing the laser at meand no warning from this detector. It has gone off with active radar a fewtimes but the distance from the cop cruiser was quite close. I have no ideawhen I was shot with radar as the detector goes off constantly from falsealarms.
It beeps when there's a cop, when there's no cop, whenthere's a light ... beeps for everything. No help at all
This radar detector performs perfectly for my needs andcomes at a great price. Well I've been harassed long enough and since gettingthis radar detector I'm always alert and paying attention whenever cops arearound hunting for hapless victims. Just need to adjust detection and volumesettings so it's not too loud and annoying or constantly going off whiledriving In the city.
I usually follow the speed limit, but since I moved to thesouth, look out for the police! Especially the local police.
