Taylor•Miller

In the spring of 2013, artists Kevin Taylor and Johnathan Miller, began a photographic collaboration with a goal of producing highly detailed, large scale photographic installations. A deliberate approach was undertaken to do as much 'in camera' as possible. Each image is captured with a thoughtful analysis of the subject and a careful planning of exposures across vast areas of light and shadow. Digitally processed for color and density, the size, depth and attention to detail of these images puts the viewer directly into the scene, filling their field of view. For the artists, their collaborative effort has been both a return to the craft and art of photography in the field and an exploration of digital technology. Fulfillment of their earliest photographic pursuits; skillful camera work and big prints.

Taylor•Miller Photographs works with interior designers, art consultants, contractors and architects to create custom fine art photographs for healthcare, hospitality, government and corporate environments as well as private residential spaces.
