Taylor Charisse has been in love with the arts from an early age. Born in San Jose, California, but raised in the small town of Porterville, California, Taylor embraced the performing arts quickly. Starting at three years old she fell in love with the stage through dance. She directed her first play by age seven, and published her first short story by age eight. From there on it was no stopping her. Throughout her adolescence, she performed in numerous stage plays, choir performances, and dance recitals. Anything she wanted to conquer she would. By high school she had developed herself not only into a triple threat by being able to sing dance and act, but also a growing talent in writing. Taylor was a star in the making.
In 2006, Taylor decided to take a break from the arts to serve her country by enlisting in the United States Air force; however the arts were never far from her heart. After being medically discharged for injuries sustained in service, she turned back to her true love of the arts and in 2009 Taylor made the leap to move from California to Atlanta Georgia where she ventured in to modeling where she is now begining to earn a name as well, doing projects like Keri Hilson’s video for “breaking point” as well as BET’s “The Game" and The CW's "Vampire Diaries."
As of 2013 Taylor has found a way to blend her two loves, helping people, and entertaining people. Majoring n Psychology and Communications at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta GA, Taylor is sharpening the skills she needs to do both as she prepares to launch her new video blog series, radio show, and written blog summer of 2013
