Growing up, I often changed what I wanted to become in life. Some days I'd want to be a famous singer or ballerina and other days I'd swear I was going to be a lawyer or a doctor. No matter what I chose, it never seemed to stick. When it came time to pick something to study at college, I chose Nursing because I'd always liked helping others. At the end of my Freshman year I began to realize that I didn't really have a passion for Nursing. That following summer, I worked as a Summer Conference Assistant for Conference and Guest Services at North Carolina Central University. Within that summer I met many people from different walks of life and had quite a few interesting conversations, but the most important thing I got from that experience was what I wanted to do in life: ensure the happiness of others.

Currently I am a Senior at North Carolina Central University studying Hospitality and Tourism so that I will be able to ensure the happiness of any one who crosses my path. As a member of the University Honors Program, I consider myself a prospective world changer with ambition and an unending thirst for new experiences. I am a student who considers herself dependable, responsible, hard working, and flexible. I pride myself in my ability to communicate well with others and my natural people pleasing personality. While I study, I have been gaining hands on experience in the Hospitality field by working as a Community Assistant and as a Sales Associate at IT'SUGAR. It is my hope to graduate in May of 2016 so that I can begin my career in Hotel Management and continue to ensure the happiness of others who come into my life.
