Ashton Taylor Spicer
Writer, Public Speaker, and Teacher
I enjoy teaching others new concepts and challenging them to ask big questions. I graduated from Liberty University with my undergraduate communication degree in three years rather than four. I then earned a full scholarship plus stipend for my M.A. in communication teaching introductory communication courses at Liberty University. My second year as a graduate student I was given ownership of a new class in which I developed and taught all content.
I also enjoy researching challenging topics and seeking new knowledge. My research tends to revolve around the political- although I have many interests including interpersonal communication, intercultural communication and gendered communication.
As a Christian, my greatest passion in life is to love others the way that God first loved me. I try to employ this attitude in bettering the global human condition in any way I can. I am particularly passionate about stopping human trafficking.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and try to pick up a good book whenever I have the chance. My interest in reading has given me the ability to employ my aptitude for writing in many different forms including formal research, poetry, and media relations.
