Taylor Casey

I am a recent graduate from the University of Iowa with a BA in communication studies and English. Currently, I am pursuing an internship and/or full-time position to gain valuable, hands on knowledge in a field that I am most passionate about.

My dream job would be working in the entertainment/fashion industry as a writer/publisher. Ideally, in the magazine industry, but anywhere to get my foot in the door and work my way up would be a great start. My main passion is writing, especially human interest pieces. The best opportunity I have been given thus far to pursue this passion is working for my college's newspaper, The Daily Iowan. While a small, student run publication, it is only one of two college newspapers that publishes all year round and circulates to roughly 50,000 readers.

Overall, I'm a hardworking individual who will do whatever it takes to succeed, all I need is the opportunity to prove I can do so.
