Taylor Caspersen
Taylor Caspersen is a youthful musical powerhouse born and raised in Sooke, BC. He is locally known for his passion for playing music, his charismatic and energetic performances, and his large stage presence. His passion for music started with percussion and drums at the ripe age of 4, and quickly it converted into a musical addiction to many other instruments: starting with the guitar at age 10, then piano, organ, banjo, bass, harmonica, mandolin, and more. After having a locally-successful classic rock and blues band, the Taylor Caspersen Project, Taylor and the group parted ways, leading Taylor to going solo; his debut album, entitled "After All These Years", is currently in production. From the youthful age of 15, Taylor has hosted the Kemp Lake Music Cafe Sunday Jams and along the way has played with hundreds of supremely talented players from all around the globe. "Playing music as a way of life, living and breathing music, is all I've ever wanted to do. Music has helped me learn who I really am; and without it, I wouldn't be the same guy I am today", he says.
"After All These Years" will be debuting this summer on iTunes, physical CD, and many other online retailers. It features 10 original songs performed and produced by Taylor, and features genres varying through blues, classic rock, ballads, and folk; being 100% independently produced and released, he is raising funds for the costs of producing the album on gofundme, more information can be found on Taylor's fundraising can be found at http://gofundme.com/afteralltheseyears .
