Derick Taylor is known as “Dmuzic” he is an Entrepreneur, Composer, Record Producer, Instructor and Musician) was born in Gulfport, Mississippi on October 1978. Taylor grew up in a Christian based home raised up in a Pentecostal church where his dad is the pastor and also where he developed his musical ability. Taylor grew up in a neighborhood that was surrounded with fights and violence. However, his love for music has played an important role in helping him stay out of trouble. In 2002, he formed Dmuzic Productions to help with local talent in Gulfport Mississippi. He has produced many albums and has worked with many artists under his production company. He also teaches music which he plans on opening his school of arts as a full time instructor in the near future. Derick states that he loves to teach music because It gives him a drive to help others develop their musical purpose. He later founded Christian Unity Music Group in 2008 teaming up with a local christian singer/artist who has helped him developed christian showcases providing a platform for upcoming artists to share the stage throughout Mississippi and Georgia.

Derick graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from Full Sail University studying Entertainment Business and plans on continuing his career in the Entertainment Business as CEO of present and future companies.
