My name is Taylor Hooker and I am a proud Monarch at Old Dominion University. My passion is student leadership and I love talking about it. I currently serve as a member of the Virginia Beach Library Board, the Student Action Committee and School Improvement council for Bayside, and have been recently appointed to serve on the Virginia Beach chapter of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), as well as serving the City-Wide SCA organization as Instructional Coordinator. I work for Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation's Therapeutic Recreation department, and I am proud to say I love my job! My goals for the future include going to a well rounded college to pursue both my dream of becoming a special education teacher and a CTRS.
