Genuine, diligent, and humorous would all be appropriate words to use when describing Taylor Smith. Taylor is currently working this summer as an intern at Treadstone Funding. He constantly tries to assist others in any means possible. Whether it’s something as simple as making coffee, or writing blogs to help with internet marketing, Taylor does not cease until the job is finished.

Although he summers in Grand Rapids where he currently interns—Taylor spends the rest of the year across the pond somewhere just as cold. Taylor is a student of the business school at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He looks forward to returning this coming fall as a sophomore ready for action. Taylor hopes to earn a double-major in finance and economics, with a minor in Spanish.

Taylor comes from a family of four and has likely inherited all the business skills of his sales-man and marketer father, Tim Smith. When he isn’t working or spending time with his family, you might find Taylor pursuing his entrepreneurial passions—working on his own small business. Along with two high-school friends, Taylor created a small company that manufactures and sells longboards. In high school, Taylor relished in playing both Tennis and Baseball at Catholic Central. Now that those glory days are over, he does his best to stay in shape by lifting weights and playing pick-up basketball. In addition to sports, Taylor is a movie fanatic and beachgoer.
