Taylor Kaiser

I’ll start with the obvious: I am in my final year at Rochester Institute of Technology after just spending a glorious semester studying in Germany and traveling around Europe. I am working towards a BFA in Graphic Design and minors in Communications and Marketing, but I try to spend time learning new things, finding new interests, and enjoying the sunshine.

The more time I spend in graphic design, the more I realize just how many options for the future I really have. I love the idea of communicating visually and how good design is a harmonious combination of aesthetics, cultural influences, and the human psyche. In design, my true passions lay in color psychology and numerical precision. I gravitate towards pattern, texture and effective simplicity. As for the future, I am still young and hope to never be 100% sure about where life will take me. However, I have sensed that I am drifting towards advertising, a definite field of design and human factors.

Despite a schedule full of work and schooling, I make time to see live music, cook delicious meals (and eat them of course), lay in the sunshine and adventure with my friends and family. I do my best to see the world and exercise my perception to really discover myself as well as all of the beautiful things that surround me.
