Taylor McLinden, PhD, is an Epidemiologist (Consultant) at the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS (BC-CfE). He also holds an appointment as an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University. Previously, he was the Scientific and Quality Assurance Officer at the BC-CfE. Currently based in London, Ontario, he is involved in initiatives related to education and capacity building in epidemiologic methods.

Prior to a postdoctoral fellowship at the BC-CfE, Taylor completed a PhD in Epidemiology at McGill University. He also earned a MSc (Epidemiology) from the University of Guelph and an Honours BSc (Biomedical Sciences) from Brock University. During his training, he developed methodological expertise in causal inference and longitudinal data analysis. In recent years, he has focused on using linked administrative health data for scientific research.
