Taylor Oaks
Memphis, TN
I am a Memphis advocate, dedicated to moving this city forward. I am led by a hungry mind - wanting to learn new things everyday.
At 22 years of age, I graduated from the University of Memphis this past May. I earned my degree in Journalism, with a concentration in Public Relations.
I recently left my internship at ALSAC/St. Jude in the Strategic Partners Department. I have held another successful internships previous to my position at St. Jude. I was the Commnications Intern at New Memphis Institute. Before then, I served for a year as an After-school Care Counselor at OLPH School in Germantown, TN.
I am a Jesus Christ follower, family lover and Memphis Tigers and Grizzlies fan. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with people close to me as well as reading. A good book can change everything.
Hard-working, dedicated, caring, moral, responsible and congenial are words I would use to describe myself. I have learned this about myself as well as how to be an effective worker/leader through my internships and involvement at the University of Memphis.
