As a director and actor, I am interested in collaboration. It's all about telling stories and finding creative spirit; a collective, working vocabulary; the joy of transformation; give-and-take...how do I create my role and how does this intricate puzzle come together...?

ONGOING: I have the honor of being a Train Gang member of the devised theatre company Blessed Unrest. Talk about creative spirit - it is a pure joy to play with these folks, and I become a more conscious theatre artist and human every time I train with them. Coming up in 2017-18, look for an adaptation of "The Snow Queen" and an original devised production about identity and refuge. www.blessedunrest.org

As a teaching artist, I am responsible for asking the questions, not coming up with the answers. And I love that. I am also responsible for instituting the professional into the personal and infusing the play into the work. How can I open up possibilities for my students while encouraging physical and imaginative awareness? How can I help increase their consciousness and connect the creative to the everyday?
