Taylor is a senior Business Administration major with a concentration in marketing and a minor in Integrated Marketing Communications at Ithaca College. This past summer, Taylor interned with the Disney Theatrical Group as a Group Sales Intern. His other past internships have been with CBS Consumer Products as a Marketing Intern as well as the Times Square Alliance as an Operations and Production intern where he ran the official Snapchat account live in Times Square on New Year's Eve.

Separate from the business world, Taylor was awarded "Best Actor in the Nation" at the 2013 National High School Musical Theater Awards held at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway. Taylor has appeared in the press on Broadway.com and Playbill.com for this award. Taylor has also performed multiple times at Madison Square Garden in New York City as well as at TD Garden in Massachusetts.
