TANZANIA
The United Republic of Tanzania is in East Africa. It extends over an area of 885, 957sq.km it stretches for the islands of Pemba and Zanzibar in the India Ocean in the Indian Ocean, across the High plateau of eastern Africa, to the Rift valley lakes of Tanganyika and Nyasa. The population of 45 million is concentrated into several regions, mainly along the coast and in fertile pockets near the country’s borders with Kenya and Uganda in the north and with Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi and Zambia in west. The majority indigenous tribes belong to the Bantu stock Most of the people are peasant farmers and pastoralists who live in rural areas people of different races, ethnic groups, and religious affiliations live together peacefully and amicably one of Tanzania’s strongest unifying factors in country’s official language, Swahili, which in spoken universally and used at almost all levels of the education system.
TAYONEHO ORGANIZATION
Tanzania Youth with New Hope in Life Organization (TAYONEHO) is a Non-Government Organization, youth- led, which was established in 2010 and registered in 2013 under Non- Governmental Organizations Act of 2002 with registration number 00NGO/00006292. Our Head offices are located at Kiloleli Street in Mwanza City. The organization implements projects and services in Health, Education, Economic, and Research, training, Human rights, Rule of law, agriculture, climate change, clean energies and child protection in Lake and Central zone regions.
