Tristan Blaine is a writer, lawyer, counselor, meditation teacher, and entrepreneur.

He founded Law Soup Media, which explains the law, simply. He has authored several books, including Law is Not for Lawyers (It’s for Everyone), and Do it Like a Boss: What Every Small Business Owner Needs to Know about Law and Taxes.

In addition to writing hundreds of articles at LawSoup.org, Tristan has also written articles for Forbes.com, USAToday.com, and other publications.

His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA, and a law degree with a concentration in Constitutional Law and Rights from Cardozo Law School in New York.

Tristan also volunteers as a crisis counselor for the Trevor Project, to assist LGBTQ youth in crisis. Tristan’s long term goal is to enlighten himself and others on optimal ways of living, including practicing mindfulness and meditation.
