Tony's research over many years has argued that e-learning/ICT has been a term widely misused in education, used in the most part generically to replace language that should mean integrating technology into existing educational practice. He asserts that as technology continues to develop, becomes more sophisticated and user centered, school education (and other types of education) are paying little attention to content, curriculum and pedagogy replacing them with technology gadgets and devices.
