I love dogs! I believe having pets in your home can truly enrich your life. I have two very lovable Pembroke Welsh Corgis - yes, they are the ones with the really short legs! I have been training basic obedience skills with my own dogs for about 4 years. Both of my dogs are CGC certified and we work together as a Therapy Dog team. We often go into nursing homes and children's hospitals to visit with patients and residents. People enjoy interacting with the dogs, and it seems to make a difference in their lives!

In order to qualify for Therapy Dog training, your dog must have basic obedience skills. Obedience training is fun and easy, but takes a lot of practice. I hope you'll take time to review the obedience training information so you can get started.
