Tamorra A. Boyd, MBA

Greetings!

I am Tamorra A. Boyd, a 2007 graduate of the illustrious Florida A&M University's School of Business and Industry, and a 2013 graduate of Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law.

Prior to law school I worked in a variety of marketing and human resources roles in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. I handled everything from creating regional sales forecasts, writing marketing materials, and negotiating agreements for services and products with agencies, to securing HIPAA releases, to complying with FDA requirements for the vaccines and devices for which I was responsible. With each role, I was able to successfully facilitate communication between internal and external clients to strengthen company portfolios through brand recognition and revenue growth.

During law school, I worked for several state and federal agencies. My primary responsibilities included contract negotiation/drafting, and research of law relating to advertising and marketing regulation. I also continued strengthening skills I developed prior to law school through leadership roles in local, regional and national organizations. My responsibilities included negotiating and drafting contracts with speakers and venues, managing relationships with corporate sponsors, balancing budgets and overseeing the projects of various organizations.

Currently, I am looking to leverage the marketing management and analysis expertise along with in-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance requirements to transition into a Marketing, Compliance or Management role. I seek to integrate business/legal knowledge and experience in a position that will allow direct access to impact company growth.
