Min. Temisha Burden

In 1996, at the age of 16 at a C.M.E. National Youth and Young Adult Conference, she gave her life over to the Lord. She was moved by the preacher's words when she said "one day she looked in the mirror and saw the glory of the Lord". It was in October 2000 that she received the baptism of water and of the Holy Spirit. It was in this same year that the Lord spoke to her and gave her a dream concerning her commission to not only be a minstrel but prophetic preacher of the gospel of the Kingdom of God. After perservering many years of trials, purgings and corrections from Holy Spirit, she was officially ordained into ministry by the laying on of hands in 2010 by Prophet Joe Howard of The Rock of the Kingdom Ministries, Charlotte, North Carolina.

She and her husband, also an ordained minister, birthed the vision of Sceptre Publishing. An organization and business that would encourage the healing of man and provoke them to ascend in their mindset and desire an intimate relationship with God through Christ Jesus. Sceptre Publishing also consists of Sceptre Sound, a music production label, and ASCEND, a blog which will morph into a magazine.

As a servant of Christ and deliverer of the gospel of the Kingdom of God and of Jesus the Christ, it is her responsibility to represent Yahweh God in a manner that is pleasing in His sight. Exhibiting His agape love that binds up the brokenhearted, proclaims liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. Isaiah 61:1-3

These things can only be accomplished through the finished work of Christ. It is her desire to produce and hear the sound from heaven that provokes God's people to ascend to the holy mountain of the Lord where the freedom of Jesus Christ resides.
