Hi my name is Theresa Burnside I am care giver to my husband Martin. Martin has a rear form of cancer called Waldenstrom it is a cancer that prevents him form make bold and he needs blood transfusions. He also has a problem with his lungs if he walks to much he gets really short of breath. One months supply of his meds for his cancer is 10,000.00 insurance does pay some of this then there are his other meds that he takes daily he is on a total of 24 meds. Martin is on disability he receives 1241.00 per month by the time we pay our rent which is now 800.00 per month and the household bills , get his meds there is little money left for food we do get 201.00 food stamps per month which does not get much we also go to our local food bank monthly . We just found out that the jeep we are driving has a rotted frame and will not last much longer. We are in desperate need of a car. We do not want much just a car that will get him to doctor's appointments and for blood work and to the store for food when we have the extra money. I am very humbled to have to do this but I have no choice. If any out there can help me I will be eternally grateful.
