I believe that anyone holding a pen has but one responsibility: to write what is true. In this way, you will know that whatever that truth makes people feel has everything to do with their heart and nothing to do with your head. I believe that everything that is written is born out of restlessness. When a writer wrestles with an idea, a thought, a taste of the soul, until it breaks free because it must be told. I believe that as writers, it is our responsibility to set the truth free, to let the truth be heard, and to let our hearts be passionate about expressing the truth. All writing is an expression of the soul, and a call to let it bleed from our hearts. That is why I write.
