Currently, I'm the, Executive Director Medill IMC Spiegel Digital and Database Research Initiative, and Senior Director Distance Learning Northwestern University—
I joined the faculty at Northwestern University in January 1998, served as Associate Dean and Department Chair from 2005 to 2011, and now lead a research initiative and serve as senior director of distance learning. I teach and consult in the areas of integrated marketing communications, direct, database & e-commerce marketing management, customer loyalty, customer relationship management, & channel integration. I do executive development and have been on private and publiclly held boards of directors. I'm a former Senior Vice President of The Leo Burnett Company; Former Vice President and General Manager of Ogilvy & Mather Direct/OgilvyOne; former member of the editorial advisory board for the Journal of Consumer Marketing; and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Cancer Wellness Center.
