Tyesha Andrews, is a native of Washington, D.C. who graduated from Margaret Murray Washington Career Senior High School in 2004. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University in 2008 and a Master of Arts degree in Legal Administration from Marymount University in 2012. She holds a Graduate Paralegal Studies certificate from Marymount as well.
Mrs. Andrews has worked as a correctional officer with the D.C. Department of Corrections at D.C. Correctional Facility, a deputy clerk in the Domestic Relations Branch of the Family Operations Division at D.C. Courts & a courtroom clerk in the Probate Division with the D.C. Courts. She is currently a Family Law Facilitator within the Family Division at D.C. Courts. Ty is also a loving wife, mother, parent advocate, and an active member of the Marion Barry Youth Leadership Institute Alumni Association (MBYLIAA) and Parents Amplifying Voices in Education (PAVE).
