I spend my time investigating some of the mysteries of the early Solar System: How did the precursors to asteroids (that we call planetesimals) get hot? What types of impact histories did these planetesimals experience? How do these processes affect our understanding of the conditions in the Solar System during the time of planet formation?

At Imperial College London, we use numerical modeling of hypervelocity impacts and related processes to try to answer some of these questions.
