Dr. Donahue is a trainer and consultant.
He brings a combination of academic and practical business experience to your organization.
Former State Director for the Minnesota Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), he has worked with the profit and non-profit sectors providing consulting, training, and research in the areas of strategic management, marketing, customer service, sale’s training, human relations, and business development.
Dr. Donahue has owned and operated his own small businesses and knows first hand the difference between educational and hands on business experience.
He has received 5 district, 3 regional and 1 national award for outstanding consulting from the Small Business Administration. In addition, the Independent Business Association of Minnesota awarded him the “Small Business Champion” .
As an educator, he has taught a variety of business courses at the graduate and undergraduate level. His courses are practical. He blends real world applications with solid academic principles to make sure students are equipped with the tools necessary to compete in business.
He has an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. and a doctorate from the University of South Dakota in Adult Learning Styles and corporate training.
Dr. Donahue’s ability to apply conceptual theories with real world experience makes his training sessions exciting and fun learning experiences. His ability to identify problems quickly enables him to assist client’s work through problems and focus on alternatives that will fit with the client’s unique business culture and personality.
He has worked with the Russian Federation to provide entrepreneurial training and planning to the Voronezh region of Russia.
