I have a passion for fashion in the least cliche way possible. Since I was a mere middle schooler I have always wanted to open a clothing boutique (looking back at my fashion choices I made I don't think it was a good idea at the time). I never wished for great fame or riches I just wanted to own a small clothing store, do what I love and be surrounded by what I love... CLOTHES. I think the reason that I find fashion so interesting is because it is the simpliest and most dramatic way to identify one's self. Fashion gives a freedom of expression like nothing else and that is why I love it. And from that point on, everything that I have been doing in my academic and professional career has been to achieve this goal. I am a sophomore finance major at UMass- Amherst Isenberg School of Management with a secondary major in Sociology. I chose these two majors because I want to be able to not just understand the in's and out's of how to financially support a business but to also understand people, people that I would have to work with, people that would shop at my store, I want to make my life long dream come try and never have to see the day that it goes under.
