July 31, 2010- the last time I heard Grandma say "I Love You" RIP Grandma 8/11/2010 I will think of you often, especially as I fulfill OUR dream of teaching. Just attempting to live a good life, one which my Grandma would be proud of; Seeking to fulfill OUR dream of teaching.
At 5 years old, I knew I wanted to be a teacher and that has never changed. I'm currently working as a 4th and 5th grade math and science teacher while studying for a my master's in library and information science. For me, books and reading are a passion, not a hobby- I absolutely love the feel of a book in my hand and of sharing that love with my students. To impact the lives of students, whether it is through a book or through a science experiement or even a research project, that is why I teach.
