Teag Porter

Hello, I’m Teag. I am a centralized Human Resources Onboarding Specialist at Texas A&M University. I process student, staff, temporary workers, and faculty hires for the university. My team and I hire on average 200 staff and 400 student workers per month. I aid in internal I-9 audits via the Guardian I-9 system. I request and process background checks for all new hires for the departments that I assist which include the Texas A&M Veterinary School and Health Science Center. I utilize the Workday application to complete internal transfers and other hiring processes. I organize the staff and student onboarding events, where all form I-9s for employment verification are completed and vital information such as benefits, employee programs, and other employee information is presented.

I enjoy cycling, fishing, and camping. Whatever free time that I have outside of work is dedicated to my young and growing family. I’m also interested in gaming, hiking, and the outdoors. You can view my portfolio with a click on the button above.
