Adam Gilbert

Adam Gilbert is one of Western Canada's young movers and shakers in the Auto racing circuit in western Canada.

Adam makes his home in Edmonton, AB. Adam has raced just about everything that has wheels and truly feels the need for speed. Adam and his crew chief , AKA Dada, have spent many hours over the past 15 years sharing the challenges and successes that racing offers. They have covered racing circuits across Canada and the USA.

Adam's racing dream began at age 9 when he bought his first Go-Kart, and he quickly advanced from the four stroke karts into the very competative two stroke series. Adam has enjoyed many wins over the years but he is especially proud of earning the recognition as the Alberta Champion and as the overall Western Canadian Champion in the Rotax Series.

Following his nine years of racing Go-Karts, Adam made the natural transition to car racing in 2008. In 2008 a good family friend Brian MacKinnon told Adam he was not going to race that year and that Adam could drive his car for him and that was the beginning of the next phase of Adam's dream. Adam worked with Hugh Williamson of Top Gun Powder Coatings, Calgary learning about the car and setup. After having great success in that first year Adam was hooked.

In 2009 Adam won " The Chase for the Mac's Cup" in the Semi Pro class and in 2010 and 2011 won the Edmonton International Raceway Championship and "the Chase for the Mac's Cup" series Championship in the Pro Class. During this period of time Adam met Chase Pistone of CP racing Inc, out of Moorseville, NC, and joined the CP racing team competing in races in the Western Canadian Legends Cars Series home and many of the Legend Car events in the US under the CP racing banner. Adam has been very successful in races in Kallispell, Mn, Orlando, Fl, Lanier, Ga, Charlotte, NC and Langley, VA.

Adam is quick to realize he could not have accomplished any of this success without the support of his family, team and sponsors.
