Mac Belmontes

Mac Belmontes has lived in Tarrant County his entire life. During that time, Mr. Belmontes has always given back to the community and Tarrant County by being committed to transforming the lives of its residents and business owners. His overwhelming support from many stakeholders stems from a life of educating, supporting, and investing in the success of Tarrant County. These qualities, among many, certify Mr. Belmontes to lead the Lake Worth ISD Board of Trustees.

Mr. Belmontes is a first-generation American of Mexican immigrants. Growing up, Mr. Belmontes learned first hand how hard work, responsibility, and determination helped his parents create a better life for his family. His upbringing and family values instilled the personal responsibility, perseverance, and work ethic he upholds. He has learned and practiced careful compassion for many who have not had the opportunity to live the American Dream.

He has had the honor and privilege to serve in many capacities such as with the Crime Prevention Resource Center Program Manager - training neighborhoods and cities throughout Texas with Community Policing philosophies to working with local hiring fairs throughout the DFW Metroplex with Workforce Solutions Board. He is currently employed with Tarrant County College District for the Corporate Solutions and Economic Development department.

Mr. Belmontes was born and raised in North Side of Fort Worth, where he has resided in LWISD since the fifth grade. Mr. Belmontes is honored and proud to call Fort Worth home with his wife and children.
