Team Tick Tock is a group of active young people on the Northern Beaches. Team Tick is about involving youth. Particularly when it matters most and the *clock's ticking* to have your voice count!

Our mission is to involve more young people in the decision making. Currently, the State Government is making major structural change to Councils and Local Government services. This is systemic change to services that's only once every 50-100 years.

Currently the first and only time to have a say on the reform is 06 January - 28 February 2016. That's it.

Over the holidays on December 18, it was announced for the first time that the NSW State Government plans to divide the Northern Beaches down the middle and create two new local government Council areas.

Also separating Dee Why from Cromer but joining it across the spit bridge with Mosman.

What a joke.

This decision affects our local communities, our environment, our services.

Including libraries, bush care, flood mitigation, child care, disability services, art centres and performance spaces, community grants, youth programs and more.

This decision affects our future.

So where are #YOUth in Council boundaries?

Like our Facebook page and follow for understandable information on what's happening exactly and how to make your voice count.

Featuring the odd internet meme to have a laugh and make sense of it all too. And if you make meme, send it in! Either PM us on Facebook or email to [email protected]

We all have Jan6th - Feb28th 2016 for our voice to count towards the future of our local area.

Raise your voice and help others raise theirs too. Tell the State Government to #unitedontdivide the Northern Beaches!

Talk soon on fb.

Protests and hugs, Team Tick Tock x
