Tebang Motaung was born in soweto Gauteng South Africa on Sunday 20 July in 86. He lived in Soweto for 13 years where he school in woodmead and meredale primary schools. He moved to Bloemfontein in his early high school years where he matriculated at Tsoseletso high school in 2004.After high school he took to entrepreneurship and opened Together with his family a store that sold Health product. In 2006 he was drafted into a traffic officer and he worked for the department of roads and transport for three years, he than retired in 2010 and opened the first of two fish n chips in the free state. After running and managing fast food restaurant in 2012 he took his profit and created tamikk vadoek fatuku sterilizer which in 2013 won the vest business in the ILO job enterprize challenge, it had since become a basic need product in all Free State ECDC. And is also about to go national throughtout the country.

But even with all of this Tebang is also a recording artist called poolsideboy signed with woodhouse production. poolside has also become in of the fastest growing movements in Bloemfontein.
